Hi! I’m Autumn.
I love dogs, chocolate, a good t-shirt, a good nap, and exploring unconventional locations with my husband.
I was born and raised on the outskirts of Wichita and have lived in the area most of my life. I attended local private schools and was homeschooled. I also got a little education at Friends University and Cowley County Community College.
I’m an amateur at researching, genealogy, photography, and writing. I love visiting cemeteries, photographing the gravestones, researching the people, and then sharing what I learn. I manage the website Midwestern Death Trip and write all of the content (unless otherwise stated).
I am the author of the books Buried Wichita, Kansas: A Midwestern Death Trip (released October 31, 2024) and the upcoming Buried El Dorado, Kansas: Silent Stories Beneath the Oil Fields (Coming 2026-ish).
In my professional life, I administer a CRM database for a global consulting firm. I’m a certified Microsoft Dynamics Sales Functional Consultant and have the Microsoft Dynamics Fundamentals certification. I also have Applied Skills credentials in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Model-Driven Apps and am working toward additional Power Platform certifications.
